WrestleMania 30 preview

Wrestlemania is live from the Superdome in New Orleans this Sunday and it is sure to be an action packed show. There are 8 matches overall on the show which include The Undertaker defending his undefeated streak by taking on Brock Lesnar, John Cena will try and defend his Legacy by taking on newcomer Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan will face WWE COO Triple H with the winner going on to wrestle in the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Let’s not forget Hulk Hogan has returned to WWE and will host the event on Sunday night.

Here I will preview all the matches on the card and give my prediction as to who will prevail. Let’s take a look at the first match of the night which will be on the pre-show.

The Usos Vs Los Matadores vs The Real Americans Vs Ryback and Curtis Axel (WWE Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way) – This match now takes place on the pre-show with WWE having to try and fill the full 2 hours of it. The Usos have been uninspiring as of late when they defeated The New Age outlaws on Raw for the belts. They do have a chance of losing their belts without even getting pinned. In terms of leaving Mania with the titles it has to be the Usos who retain. Los Matadores are only included on the card to give them something to do while Ryback and Cutis Axel don’t have as much steam as a team and are unlikely to win and it beggars belief as to why they are in the match instead of the Rhodes brothers who helped turn around the tag team division last year. The Real Americans have become ever so popular with the WWE Universe but with Cesaro rumoured to be turning face in the coming weeks this doesn’t help their chances.

Winner: The Usos

Divas Championship Invitational: Talk about a match that has been throwing together at the last minute and this is it. AJ Lee has the odds stacked against her as she must put the title on the line against 13 other divas. AJ’s title reign is about to come to an end Sunday at Wrestlemania. The likely winner out of all these divas is AJ’s bodyguard Tamina. At least then would create some sort of story coming out of Wrestlemania and it might actually get people interested in the appalling division as of late.

Winner: Tamina Snuka

John Cena Vs Bray Wyatt: For 3 consecutive Wrestlemania’s John Cena has main evented Wrestlemania but come Sunday this will not be case. John has fought the biggest stars in the business but on Sunday he will have the opportunity to wrestle with a man he hasn’t wrestled before. Bray Wyatt, leader of the Wyatt Family is Cena’s opponent on Sunday and it is sure to be a pulsating match and could be a match of the night candidate. Bray has been involved in some tremendous matches since he made last debut last summer including at the Royal Rumble where he defeated Daniel Bryan in an outstanding match. The build- up to this match has been fantastic with Bray being incredible in his promos. John Cena has conquered every challenge that has been set in front of him during his illustrious WWE career but Bray Wyatt is an opponent who he has never faced the liked off and The eater of the word’s has to pick up the win clean in the middle of the ring and portray him as a top star in WWEcoming out of Wrestlemania. Making him win without the help of cronies Rowan and Harper would do wonders for Bray going forward.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

The Shield Vs Kane and the New Age Outlaws:After their loss to the Wyatt Family at the Elimination Chamber, it appeared that the Shield was set for a break up and heading to a triple threat match at the show case of the immortals. Now however, they have turned babyfaces and the fans love them. Although their feud with Kane was going nowhere, the New Age Outlaws got involved and delivered abeat down to the Shield and set up their match at Wrestlemania. Many are expecting Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose to turn on other member Roman Reigns and although this would be a great twist it must be saved for a later date. There is little point Kane and the New Age outlaws winning so expect the Shield to decimate their opponents and pick up the win.

Winner: The Shield

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal: When Hulk Hogan let the WWE Universe know that he had an announcement for Wrestlemania many expected him to get the boots back on and step foot in the ring at Wrestlemania. Due to the state of Hogan’s back though he will not be participating and will be the host. He did announce the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal for the event and currently has 27 wrestlers confirmed for the bout. Among wrestlers competing for the trophy are former world champions in The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, Mark henry, Dolph Ziggler and the favourite to win the trophy, The Big show. This is a great way to get men on the card that had no real purpose going into the show of shows. This is sure to be an occurrence at Wrestlemania in the future. Trying to predict who will win is very tricky. The Big Show is the clear favourite due to him being the closest thing to Andre The giant in terms of size but there should be a casemade for stars like Dolph Ziggler and Intercontinental champion Big E. Having Ziggler win would by eliminating big show or Mark Henry would be a timely reminder that Ziggler is back and is ready to put his year from hell behind him.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler.

Daniel Bryan Vs Triple H: Ever since Summerslam, Bryan has been at war with the Authority after Triple H pedigreed him and then counted the pinfall for Randy Orton to cash in his Money in the bank briefcase and become champion.  Since then, obstacle after obstacle has been throwing in the path of the leader of the YES movement. The build up to this feud has been incredible by WWE and things really intensified when Bryan staged an occupy Raw and fans filled the ring and wouldn’t move until Hunter fought Bryan on the biggest stage of them all and if he won he would go on and fight for the right to be called WWE World Heavyweight champion later in the night. Triple H said if we won he would include himself in the match alongside former evolution buddies Batista and Randy Orton. In terms of who will win, you don’t have Triple H beat Bryan as the crowd will riot and become uninterested in the event. So for me, Bryan has to pick up the victory and what will be an emotional match for Bryan and his loyal fans. Don’t however count out Triple H inserting himself in the triple threat match later in the evening to make it a fatal 4 way as he has the power to do whatever he wants.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

The Undertaker Vs Brock Lesnar- TheUndertaker will put his streak on the line as he attempts to make Brock Lesnar his 22nd victim. The build up to this match has been pretty underwhelming to say the least with WWE portraying Brock as weak heading into the vent instead of a monster who has a real chance of ending the streak. It has been bizarre booking of the former UFC champ and via reports WWE isn’t happy the booking to Lesnar Vs Taker and they should be. One has to wonder will this be the last match for Undertaker at Wrestlemania because let’s face it he isn’t getting any younger and he will most definitely feel the effects of the match due to Brock’s in ring dominance and ruthlessness. The undertaker isn’t going to lose on Sunday and will defeat the beast incarnate to become an astonishing 22-0.

Winner: The Undertaker

Main Event: WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton vs Batista and Daniel Bryan or Triple H- Since Batista’s return to WWE after Christmas the fans haven’t took to him and was turned heel. Many fans were sick of the idea of having Orton Batista as the main event so WWE were forced to add a stipulation in the Bryan HHH match in that the winner is included in the title match and it becomes a triple threat. There has to be only one winner of the match and that is for Bryan to win. The leader of the YES movement must be crowned champion. Bryan has been chasing the title since Summerslam where he got screwed by Triple H. Randy Orton has been stale champions thus far and has relied on The Authority to pull him out of tricky situations in the past, but come Sunday Randy will have no help and must try and put up the best fight he can. Just imagine the crowd when the referee counts the 1,2,3 and Bryan is given the gold to which the crowd are screaming YES YES YES in what is sure to be a thunderous reception in the Superdome.Bryan will have his Wrestlemania moment onSunday which of that I am sure. It’s what’s best for busniness.

Winner: Daniel Bryan
